Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the 2027 House of Representatives election in the constituency, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to prominent APC chieftain, Chief Pastor Reuben, at his residence in Yenagoa.

The visit was aimed at expressing appreciation to Chief Pastor Reuben for his unwavering support during the recently concluded APC National Assembly primaries.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Ambaiowei thanked Chief Pastor Reuben for his steadfast commitment and invaluable contributions to the growth of the APC. He particularly commended the Pastor Reuben Initiative for its grassroots mobilization efforts and dedication to strengthening the party structure.
According to the federal lawmaker, the initiative has played a significant role in galvanizing support for the APC and fostering unity among party faithful across Bayelsa State and beyond. He noted that the impact of the initiative on the party’s growth and cohesion remains remarkable.

As he seeks a second term in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ambaiowei emphasized the importance of experience in delivering effective representation and quality governance. He stated that his decision to seek re-election is driven by the desire to consolidate on the achievements recorded during his first tenure.
He further appealed to Chief Pastor Reuben to sustain his support ahead of the 2027 general elections, assuring him of his continued commitment to the development of the constituency and the progress of the APC.
Responding, Chief Pastor Reuben reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the APC, stressing that he has made enormous sacrifices for the growth and stability of the party through personal resources and influence.




He pledged to continue supporting leaders and initiatives that are committed to strengthening the party and promoting the collective interest of the people.
