Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei, has commenced the renovation and rehabilitation of dilapidated secondary school facilities in three communities across Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The ongoing interventions cover secondary school buildings in Oweikorogha and Peremabiri, as well as the rehabilitation of the Administrative Quarters of the secondary school in Otuan Community.
The projects are aimed at addressing deteriorating school infrastructure and improving the physical environment in which students learn and teachers carry out their responsibilities.

The intervention is part of efforts attributed to the federal lawmaker toward improving educational infrastructure and upgrading public facilities across Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency.
Residents of the benefiting communities are expected to gain from improved school facilities upon completion of the rehabilitation works, particularly students and teaching staff who use the facilities.

The development also highlights the importance of constituency-level interventions in complementing broader government efforts to improve access to quality education and provide conducive learning environments in rural and riverine communities.

With work now underway in the three communities, attention will remain on the completion and quality of the projects and their eventual impact on students, teachers and the wider communities.
