Stakeholders from Okulobo-Ama and Ogoun-Ama communities in Ward 10, Amassoma, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has commended the grassroots support for the member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei.

The stakeholders, speaking during a mobilisation meeting organised by the Okulobo-Ama/Ogoun-Ama Grassroots Mobilization Front (OGRMF), described the support for Ambaiowei as a sincere and unanimous expression of confidence in his representation.
According to the stakeholders, the two communities constitute a politically united support base for Ambaiowei within their quarter in Amassoma.
He acknowledged what they described as the lawmaker’s “visionary wisdom, goodwill and developmental projects” across the Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, noting that the initiatives had contributed to the development of the constituency.
The stakeholders urged Ambaiowei to do more if re-elected, saying the people remained committed to supporting his return to the National Assembly.
They further stressed that the support was based on the stakeholders’ assessment of Ambaiowei’s performance and commitment to his constituents, rather than political extremism or inducement.
The stakeholders expressed confidence that the support base would remain firm in its backing for Ambaiowei ahead of the 2027 general elections.
