In his goodwill message, Honourable Rodney expressed his honour in representing Nigeria and joining the Swiss people in commemorating this significant day: “I am deeply honoured to represent Nigeria and celebrate with you on this momentous occasion of Swiss National Day. Today, we commemorate the founding of the Swiss Confederation and the values of unity, democracy, and federalism that have guided this great nation.”
He also highlighted the strong bond between Nigeria and Switzerland, emphasizing their long-standing history of mutual respect, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange.
The Federal lawmaker conveyed his appreciation to the Swiss people and government for their consistent cooperation and support: “As we mark this special day, I wish to express my gratitude to the people and government of Switzerland for their unwavering support and collaboration. May our partnership continue to thrive and bring prosperity to our citizens.”
